From Friday 10 November 2017 to Sunday 11 February 2018
Archaeological Museum al Castello - Piazza Libertà - Udine
WOMEN, MOTHERS, GODDESSES
Inauguration 11 November 2017 at 6.30 pm
The exhibition is a journey through 40,000 years of evolution of the symbolic, metaphorical and spiritual system of man between Central and Southeast Europe. The path is developed in a multisensory sense starting with the first female figurative productions. This is a scientific exhibition, because for the first time, rare and unique examples of the ancient figurative production of Central Europe and the Balkans are collected.
The exhibition is the launch event of the COME-IN project! (Cooperation for full access to museums - towards greater inclusion) and uses a fascinating and engaging theme, the representation and meaning of the female figure over the last 40,000 years, to transfer as much as possible to all the public a reflection and the experimentation of the project.
Timetable: Tuesday to Sunday 10.30 - 17.00. Closed Monday
Free admission until November 26, 2017.
Full Euro 8,00 and reduced Euro 4,00
